CIEMAT and EGILE's ExtremePrecision business unit validate the manufacturing of a structure for the CERN's Compact Linear Collider (CLIC) project.
This project needed a constant coexistence with the technique limits and both companies overcame great milestones:
2013/2014 Egile develops the required technology for the manufacturing of the most critical components and it is homologated as CERN’s supplier.
2016/2019 Egile manufactures the first batch of CLIC discs in serial production.
2020/2021 Ciemat supervises the assembling tasks and the welding (diffusion bonding and brazing
2021 Ciemat and Egile validate the structure with metrology, radio frequency and leak tests.
