Within the healthcare sector, we are working on customisation, a concept that is transcending many areas, and that was the origin of the Createch Medical’s dental prostheses in our case. The application to other anatomies as well as its implantation process in operation theatres is the focus of our research.
MAXILLARY SUBSTITUTIONS IN CANCER AND INJURED PATIENTS -MAXILO – IDI-20100635
This project led to a new product line with the development of a new methodology to cover a series of shortcomings that currently exist in maxillofacial surgical practice, involving the search for less traumatic, faster and more customised patient solutions. The products are made in a series of maxillofacial reconstruction prostheses to be produced using advanced mechanical solutions and cutting edge materials.

This project saw DMP developing a prosthetic solution for patients with cancer in vertebral bodies. Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness MINECO, through the project ENNGRANA of the national INNPACTO 2011 programme, we were able to advance the design, manufacture and surgical implantation methodology.

DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF A REGISTRY SYSTEM FOR MAXILOFACIAL ROBOTIZED SURGERY – MAXILARIS – RTC-2015-3871-1
This project involved DMP attempting to apply robotic surgery technologies that were already developed in previous projects, in maxillofacial interventions, thus making it necessary to increase the accuracy of the system. Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness MINECO, through the project MAXILARIS from the national RETOS 2015 programme, we were able to advance the design, manufacture and surgical implantation methodology.
