Manufacturing components with nanometric roughnesses and dimensional or geometric tolerances of less than one micron means being able to measure the magnitude of any parameter that influences the end result, therefore allowing it to be compensated. Our capability in terms of metrology, both contact and non-contact, along with our correlation strategies with referral institutions or customers, means we can guarantee our processes and products.

In our case, metrology is a stage prior to manufacture, as it allows us to check the repeatability of the means of production and support projects as a way of improving or customising machines and their accessories, reaching robustness and accuracy levels beyond that currently available on the market.

Complex parts often require multi-processes and/or multi-technologies, and at Egile we have extensive capabilities which we combine to produce complex designs: multi-axis grinding, flat grinding, coordinate grinding, ultra-precision EDM (penetration and thread), multi-axis machining in air-bearing machines, micro-milling and grinding of special gears, hybrid turning, broaching, balancing, lapping, burnishing, etc. An advanced, holistic, multi-technology industrial platform that is constantly evolving in order to guarantee components capable of conditioning the result of high-budget missions or systems.

One of our strengths is our ability to use automation to mass produce extremely precise or highly deformable components that often require iterations and compensation loops. This allows us to position ourselves as the natural partner for large OEMs in terms of dynamic systems of the future, accompanying them throughout the process, from prototyping through to implementation of highly robotised production cells.
